Join me for the first of 2022’s celebratory festivals from the Celtic Wheel. 1st Feb marks Imbolc - a celebration of Earth gently beginning to prepare for it’s re-awakening. Likewise, within our bodies, the early signs of feeling the urge to plant seeds, re-awaken and re-emerge may be stirring - only stirring, it is not until Spring that we are truly ready to come out and face our year ahead.
At these auspicious festivals from the Celtic Wheel, we come together in virtual circle. At Imbolc the invitation is to begin the awakening from the dormancy of winter using the gifts of ceremonial cacao & connection. We will begin with a heart expanding mug of ceremonial cacao. Cacao is deeply luscious, a succulent blessing for the heart chakra. She raises our emotional frequency, often inducing ecstatic feelings of love & creativity. We will follow this with a short Kundalini inspired, somatic movement session whilst the cacao works her magic, after this we will take some time to share. Sharing is always optional, but having delved into some wonderful sister sharing circles this year, I have discovered that the freedom in sharing in this setting is very liberating and beautiful.

Please be aware that antidepressants are a contraindication when working with cacao. You should not consume ceremonial cacao if you have a heart indication. If you are taking any medication, please consult your doctor/ health practitioner before ingesting cacao. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or sensitive to caffeine and stimulants please let me know in advance. If any of the above apply, you are still very welcome to join and connect, and you can use an alternative drink for the ceremony.
This is not a traditional Mayan ceremony by any means, but is a beautiful way of partnering with Ceremonial-Grade Cacao to provide a safe and sacred space for opening the heart, emotional healing, connection, creativity and calming the nervous system
